Who We Are
HopePoint Preschool is a Christian not-for-profit, community-based preschool, serving families of the Bankstown local government area and surrounds. As an outreach of HopePoint Church, families attending our preschool form a part of our HopePoint community, including our K-6 Christian school.
Our team of qualified and experienced educators are committed to providing a high quality education and care programme, for children aged 3-5 years of age. This programme is tailored to meet the unique strengths and interests of each child, supporting them to thrive and flourish in their learning and development. Our transition to school programme aims to equip each child with the skills they require for beginning Kindergarten, including a visitation programme through our K-6 Christian school, and regular visits to the school library, establishing a love of reading in the preschool years. A Bush Kinder program allowing the children to experience nature play and develop a learning for their environment is also included fortnightly in their program.
The team of HopePoint Preschool prides itself on the love, care, support and encouragement provided to families in their parenting role. Through our HopePoint community, families also have access to our network of services such as chaplaincy and other dedicated programs, alongside many opportunities for families to connect with each other, through a range of special events, such as our annual Christmas Concert, family fun days, fundraising opportunities, and other regular activities such as Playtime, the Church’s fortnightly community playgroup for children aged 0-5 and their caregivers.
Formerly Calvary Chapel Preschool, our service has a long-history of providing quality care and education to our local community since 1979. Following on from the church's change of name in 2012, our preschool enters a new era as HopePoint Preschool in 2013, and is committed to providing the same level of care and education families have come to know and expect of our service.
